Arena
Eventing consist of three phases.
1. Dressage (time given)
2. Half Show Jumps (Approx 15 mins after dressage,
time given) follow straight on into phase 3
3. Half a course of XC fences / Working Hunter
fences in same arena as show jumps.
Format Of Event-Competitors
compete in dressage section first, the score from
the Dressage is converted into penalties, which are
then carried forward to SJ and XC phase.
Competitors will complete a Show Jumping course with
penalties being added for knock downs and refusals.
In the XC phase which is in the same arena,
penalties are added in the same way.
There will be an optimum time with penalties for
going too fast as well as for going too slow. This
is to ensure that the emphasis is not on time but
more on jumping faults.
Competitors may wear Jackets or cross country
colours for the jumping phase.

Dressage class only
£8.00.
Jumping/ XC class
only £8.00.
Arena Eventing classes combined £15.00.
Membership for Dressage Section
£5.00.

DRESSAGE TIMES AVAILABLE WED EVENING BEFORE
COMPETITION 5.30PM TO 6.30PM. LATE ENTRIES TAKEN IF
